I dont know if this forum is the most apropriate for this topic but i didnt see any equipment discusison forums so here goes nothin...

Ok, so i am already goin to be trading in my Behringer djx700. What a Peice of SH*T! 2 months and the faders are already going on it...

... Now i need help on my choice between the Allen & Heath Xone:92, and the Pioneer DJM600.

The A&H is new and looks amazing, and is supposed to be amazing, but the Pioneer is guarunteed excellent quality...

Does anyone have anything to say about A&H? I know Pioneers reputation already but i dont know much about A&H...

So far iv been told that the A&H Xone:92 blows the DJM600 away!
(that is someone who has had experience with both).

thanks...

there are like 100 of these in the dj booth, section....

if price matters the djm is about 1000, and the 92 is 1600.
search in dj booth, if you want more depth.

i own the djm, and like it...people say the 92 has 10 better quality, but i doubt you will notice it on a home system.

i second that

the good thing about the DJM600 is it has FX/Sampler
but the A & H is amazing. superb sound quality, beautiful and solid board, 4 band EQ....

oh and for better discussions on this type of stuff go to the DJ Booth forum

The DJM-5/600 must be like the most overpriced mixer ever. The quality is nowhere close to mixers like allen & heath and rane....

And yes try the amateur dj forum. You'll find lots of topics about this in there....
Ste
i would find a 4 band eq really annoying

Remember though that you'll probably only notice the quality difference on a really good set of speakers run by a good amplifier.

The only part that i might not like is the 4 band EQ.

there are very few Dj booths around here you will find the A&H, everyone is still using the pioneer. Maybe over time the xone:92 will become the mixer of choice, but i dont know if i would end up getting too used to the 4-band EQ and then the 3-band will throw me off when i play out...
The prices barely differ where i am getting it from... and it is for a basement with a good sound system but not close to a club... :happy2:

I've played on both and much prefer the DJM 600... tho I like my mixer to have a split-cue. I'm not sure the DJM 600 FX are 'better' than the Xone 92 ... but you do get more of them! :)

please remind me to laugh in your face after you purchase your "godly" djm500 / 600 mixer.

DJM 600? The DJM 600 is completely obsolete since Denon came out with the DN-X1500 this february. It's the difference between night and day. The DJM 600 came out back in 2000! The Xone 92 is a bit overpriced though and you should expect it will set you back large as well as not really being rammed with features.. mostly just solidarity and sounds quality. The X1500 I guarantee offers more for its price than any mixer on the planet.. a truly innovative piece of gear that allows for endless possibilities. I suggest doing your research to find out more.

cheers,

I'd pick the Xone 92 cuz it's similar to the Xone 62 J00F uses.
