Mikey Mike: By telling us what to do (Get yourself a channel on irc if you feel the need to use TA as a chatroom) you're implying that you see yourself in a position of authority over us. Since mods are the ones with authority here, I drew the most logical conclusion based on what I saw. |

im not telling anyone what to do. 3 local forums had their spam threads closed, and it's only fair that this one does too. the only mod that has authority here is the one person that isn't doing what he should be doing, and that is closing that farce of a thread.  |

not all of us want to be on IRC or know how to use IRC or even have the capabilities of being on IRC,... plus we like to have our past convos on record so we can reference them from time to time...

I don't see your point. That thread is years old and gets on average about 1 reply a day. It's clearly not a spam thread, and there are already talks of closing it as it's clearly run it's course. Nice try, but that's blatently not a thread that has gone over 1000 pages in a matter of months. |
