A great body will draw attention despite a crappy personality, whereas a great personality may not be able to make up for a crappy body. I agree that the body is overrated, but it can never hurt, whereas having a crappy body can often keep people from being attracted to you no matter how cool they think you are. Thanks for the comment about the ... having small has never got in my way except with guys who aren't worth it anyway. Main point: a little mojo goes a long way. |

Your body is probably the only thing youll have from the second your born to the second you die. and even after, technically. I just dont understand why people wouldnt take care of it. They take it for granted too damn much. Only when something bad happens to it do they realize how much they need it and usually just chalk up the weakness as an intrinsic flaw in human design instead of realizing that if they took care of themselves they wouldnt be sick so often or aching and groaning all the time.
When I see a girl with a fit body (guys too) it says a lot about their character to me. No matter how much I may not like their personality, I have to at least respect their dedication and devotion to maintaining themselves, which is a rare thing these days. But I think it also makes you a better person. Go into a gym and ask someone for help. In my years of working out ive NEVER had someone say no. Ive made tons of friends at the gym, because its a humbling experience going there. Everyone has to face the fact that they arent what they want to be.
Its really annoying to see these chicks with the midriff shirts with their guts hanging out acting like they are the . Like somehow they are the peak of desire. I think that a bad body combined with too much pride is the downfall of a lot of genuinely nice people who are trying to make up for their physicality by upping their mentality. However it backfires and makes you look stupid a lot. Confidence is one thing, o'er weening arrogance is another.
So when it comes down to being physical. Thats the platform everything else is built on. Its like a play. Plain old two by fours and plywood make the stage, but the real captivation is what goes on inside of the area it defines.
but if that stage was made of cottage cheese? itd be fun to watch, but youd never want to be a part of it.
bad analogy but it kind of gets my point out. I think. |
