Yeah, old news...oh well, the album wasn't that great anyway...it's decent but in no way compares to 'behind the sun'.

maybe he felt it was time to evolve and move to a newer sound and not make a carbon copy of a album just to please the masses like so many have done

Wow, this is taking some time to get released. Oh well Nick, since you've nothing to do at the moment...how about some new Disco Citizens stuff or some Chicane remixes? Eh?

He had some trouble with his old record company xtravaganza, so apparently the matter has gone to the courts and he is now signed with Warner, hence the delay. He also decided to write some new tracks for the album.

xtravaganza had nothing to do with it. he lef them, period. love on the run was released on warner straight after the departure on warner records and none of the new album material was signed to xtrvaganza so their have been no problems in that area.

He supposedly fell out with xtravaganza label head alex gold, and xtravaganza continues to re-release the older chicane material that they still have the rights to (i.e. saltwater 03, dont give up 04, behiend the sun 03 (with new dvd) etc ) but this has had no impact on the release of the new album whatsoever.

Apparently the new album, since the internet leak, may have been changed in terms of a few tweaks and maybe a different tracklist slightly, due to nick not being happy with it. i guess we'll wait and see. AND yes i agree, not to fond of the new style- at least he gave something different a crack though and who knows it may prove to be succesful with the public!
