Or maybe they are selling some now and will some some more in a couple weeks. I remember them doing that once a long time ago.

I think that's what they're doing... Cuz when I first got Giant's email, it said.... ADVANCED PRE-SALE TICKETS - EXCLUSIVE & LIMITED

So I was under the impression, that link was for PRE-PRESALE tickets before they get released to the general public.

Avalon is better - but Ruby Skye here I come!

Yep I am sure Avalon/Giant was just testing the waters with that presale. They've already created a frenzy just by doing so. There will probably be more released later
and you can always just get there early (though sure to be a cluster). I'm willing to bet a lot of tix were bought up only
to resold to people willing to pay $100 to get in.
(Yes I have been offered $100 for my tiesto tickets in LA before
at Circus.)

I'd rather wait in line @ Avalon than deal with the crowd at RS here in SF... :)

Friday night will be the mellow night with my norcal friends, then head down south to destroy Hollywood with my Socal peeps.
Though that didn't quite work last time with AVB.

Sorry to be off topic, but is Tiesto still coming down to San Diego on 6/2 (Wednesday) ?

For those of you hardcore enough, there's almost no way he'll sell out down here, and it won't be as packed. I know Avalon would fill up sooo fast and there'd be no room to dance :/

I can't find tickets online though :[

well it's still scheduled for SD. On Broadway is small and won't stay open late. So for people who just want to hear Tiesto spin,
that would suffice. The other option is Ruby Skye in SF, tickets are still available. I suspect presales will sell out, but they haven't yet. (They are still $25 with obvious intent to bump to $30 and
I don't think there will be the usual Friday freebies that weekend).
RS will surely stay open at least until 3 or 4 that night. With any luck, later...it all depends on bar sales. (Wouldn't it have been great if the later last call passed?!?!) It's also Union Street Festival that weekend in SF which is a very fun time. So for all
the TA's who want to come up (and help make the RS crowd a little better, please do!) I've just got too many friends here that want to go to miss out on hanging out with them.

My friend secured tickets for Avalon so looks like I'll be flying
down sat eve to go to Avalon. Avalon has a really great vibe right now. I disliked it before the renovation (when it was the Palace),
but overall it's more asthetically pleasing now, plenty of places to kick it or go to take a break from dancing, and most importantly, the sound system is right on point if you are right in the center of the dancefloor...

my advice...be patient and wait for groovetickets to release more
or get there very early (or be resourceful) if you must go to Avalon.
