Shaya is quite the exceptional photographer. After all Guv events, you can see a thread in TorontoTA for his pics and links to them. The resident Mark Oliver is flawless for every set (house/prog, some trance, some tech) with JayX1 killin the lights.
Labour of Love (the night before last Labor Day) is an annual event. 30 DJs, all 9 clubs are opne, all access. Sasha/Zabiela in the main room, Corsten/DJ Dan/Bassbin (:() in the Koolhaus, D&B in the Drink, Deko-ze and Mark Oliver on the Skybar (I was up there rockin out to his house set at 6:30 when the sun started to rise). Unreal..EVERY YEAR. |

been there many many times (*winks at arturo*), but imo i like it best when a big name comes on a saturday night. think the guv pulls a better crowd on special nights. do they still have $15 before 12/$20 after?? CHEAP!! (it's canadian currency) haven't been to a big event like decadance at the guv/koolhaus yet...
scott bond july 2001...my sis and i walked out of the bathroom, it was a very euphoric part of a track, the lasers were gorgeous. we both stood there with our jaws dropped like everyone else in the club and then boom boom boom...the place goes NUTS!
pvd 10.10.01...dancing to for an angel as the lights come up...
guy ornadel 11.22.03...what an amazing night! i *might* have been found dancing on the speakers...
some GREAT parties, GREAT memories...let me see if i have pics from parties there...
