Svenson and Gielen vs. Gabriel and Dresden

So I'm sitting here listening to Andain - Summer Calling (Gabriel and Dresden remix), and I can't help but wonder if this has kinda dictated the way Trance has progressed... maybe be not to the next level, but to a different level.
Svenson and Gielen obviously had done it for us in the early millenium, and continually do it, but are Gabriel and Dresden the next trance team genre that we can look forward to for the next couple of years?
If so, what style of trance would we like more, the Svenson and Gielen (airscape) type trance, or the Gabriel and Dresden beat we are comforting ourselves with.
Personally, Airscape forever! but totally diggin the Gabriel and Dresden feel of trance, and what they are doing. :toothless |

| I don't know if they are the furture of trance, nor do I care....but I do like the majority of their songs gabriel and dresden put out. |

| Why are so many people here preoccupied with choosing one group and saying that they single-handedly dictate the direction trance is going? That's not the case and that will never be the case. Any musical genre is the sum of the diversity of its artists - no one person or group will ever govern the direction its going. |
