super mario world is the ultimate 2d-platform game ever, i remember first time completing absolutely everything. brilliant game, also donkey kong country 1 & 3 (dkc2 was weak & boring), super metriod, contra 3*, street fighter 2 (+ the version that had cammie & deejay in it), killer instinct, super bomberman, and loads more, i still regret selling it, ah well, i still have my nes left
*i think that was the real name for it, in europe it was dubbed to super probotector alien rebels, and that is the silliest name i've ever heard |

Super Metroid, aw MAN did I love that game. You didn't like Zelda: A Link to the past? Now THAT was QUALITY. And of course Final Fantasy II & III (IV & VI for PS1.) Mario World was AWESOME. :D The street fighter you refer to is Super Street Fighter II The New Challengers. I still have the CD Soundtrack to the Arcade counter-part, so what I used to do was lower the music of the SNES one and play the CD while playing the game, so I would be fighting to the REAL music instead. :crazy: If it was one thing I HATED it was poor arcade translations. KI.....ummmm, no comment...too much taken out due tolack of power, same goes for KI Gold for N64. :( |

exactly. K.I.S.S. mentality. Keep it simple, no fancy graphics, but cute graphics, and GOOD ADDICTIVE GAMEPLAY!!!
 
btw, one of my favourites is The Magical Quest starring Mickey Mouse. Honestly, the best game EVARRR!!!!
gotta love the graphics and gameplay, + u can beat it in under an hour, lol.
Oh yeah, cool music too. And the mickey costumes owns. oh yeah btw the mountain climbing world is the best (yes I'm a nerd). |

Earthbound
Chrono Trigger
Breath of Fire I
Breath of Fire II
Super Mario RPG
God the SNES was THE system for kick ass RPG games. There is no modern RPG I have played that beats Super MArio RPG that game just rox my sox. |

hehe nice pic, Mario sucked tho :). I always played with koopa-troopa or toad, and once in a while with donkey kong jr =). Ohhhh, could I just feel the thrill again after winning the Rainbow Cup (with that crazy rainbow map, so hard!)!! :D :D
and ehm...who said it was a waste of time? =) |
