| I think maybe you should consider that you "might" be a loser if you are honestly concerned with the fact that you "might" be a loser if you stay home on a Friday night. |

Thanks.
You know, as a side note, I'm very concerned by all of these boardmembers that are so obsessed with worrying what everyone else thinks about decisions they make. I mean, it seems like people are striving to conform, instead of walking OUTSIDE the lines of conformity, to become a very unique individual. |

its sad really...here at college on friday nights you just see people frantically walking down the halls desperately looking for a party and they hear about one at some random destination, go there and find out that it never even existed and they come back bummed out :stongue: |
I used to tell Freshman about house parties at addresses that didn't exist, or at my friends houses who were definitely not having parties.
A good laugh for me, not so much for the frosh and my friends.

Well, I wish I could go out, but due to a broken car, lack of money, and I live out in the middle of nowhere, I have no choice but to stay home. Meh, its cool enough chillin on here flaming people and playing video games.
BTW, Jiffy has officially been award the "Rod-inator Bad Ass Award" for forum post excellence and achievement. I only wished I had thought and posted that before you did. |

I know that. And I'm not saying that you necessarily should aim to not "go with the flow". My concern is, the fact that the original post and some that followed were by people who are VERY far away from the enlightenment of knowing who their own TRUE SELF is. I mean, if you have to ask, "if I stay home tonight, am I a loser" says TONS. |

You can try to find a balance between studying and having fun. I did. I do well in college and have enough time for parties and going out.
And yeah, most of the time, I don't go out on Fridays. It is so overrated. |

You're never a loser for doing something that interests you.
If you enjoy relaxing at home, reading, or posting on tranceaddict and playing video games then good for you, you're doing something that you like.
I used to go out every weekend for the longest time and I think it's totally overrated. Unless it's a special event (special Dj, birthday, etc..) I'd rather sit home and relax than waste my time and money on alcohol and cigarettes. |
