| it's a remix not their own production, so no THEY will not release it. Jive, britney's label will release it. You guys should get it in america this time without the need to import! :) |

| you can hardly call it better, there is no difference in the prodcution at all. the radio edit just has the intro 'n outro removed, and the break comes quicker. The radio edit has the full vocal though, that is if the club mix floating around isnt just a dub and the full vocal club mix is yet to be released mp3 wise... who knows. |

| actually listen more closely and you'll hear there is a differnece. the radio edit has been toned down to make it more, well, radio friendly! |

toned down? what do you mean, be specific cos that makes no sense to me- just a vague comment.
i also think using the words 'toned down' isnt a good idea when discussing technical aspects of music (simply because the tone is a sound related word) and im presuimg you didn't mean it litterally as the tone hasn't been touched. :) |

well i think that reply was a bit pedantic but i'm sure it was written in good faith so i'll say no ore about it.
I dunno if you have heard the actual radio edit, but musically it's a simpler, more minimalstic sound. The beat/percussion/bass has been stripped down, and less of the typical Above and Beyond effects normally used in their productions i.e. the overall powerful effect of the original has been toned down.
I guess it's more prog sounding and could even pass off as a prog track if the vocals were removed completely. If you had the heard the two you would clearly hear a difference between the styles of the two versions.

my last comment was totally serious, i had no idea what you were getting at.
i've heard both radio edit and club mix, but havent heard them side by side to compare, only from memory, which they obviously sound very similar. i'll compare them as soon as i can, you may be right. |

they only sound similar in terms of the hook/melody used, apart from that they are very different. I noticed the radio edit was different immediately upon hearing it, and it was quite a while since i first heard the club/dub rmx as played on MOS.
Btw there is no maybe about it, I am right ;) |
