I did that to my friend once, except I also disabled the visible icons on his comp. I'm really not sure what I was thinking, as I know him really well and he's a smart guy, especially when it comes to technology. He figured it out in no time and it provided no funny-ness for me. But if you do it to someone with little to no technological knowledge, I imagine it would be a hell of a lot funnier.
