Hello,

Thanks for taking the time to take a look at this new post.

I was just wondering if there was

a) A place on this site

~or~

b) If anyone knows of a place

where I can get hold of a couple of specific Radio 1 Essential Mix sound files (mp3 would be great but hey, I'm easy)

I have the track lists taken from this excelent and generous site, but I am after the audio. - sentimental reasons...

Anyway, before I go all mushy, the sound files which I am after are

1) Radio 1 Essential Mix - Pete Tong & Nick Warren, Live from Scream at the Warehouse in Plymouth (England) - 1/12/96 (12/01/96)

~AAAAANND~

2) The first Essential Mix broadcast Live from Creamfields (England) Pete Tong, Sasha and Paul Oakenfold - 2/6/98 (06/02/98)

I know its a lot to ask, but thank you in advance.

PS - I have a broadband connection, so I shouldnt take forever to d/l it if you have it available ;)

Thanks again,

eh, this site doesn't support file sharing.

Ermmmm, Ok, sorry, My bad on that with respect to file sharing....

I know that Radio 1 don't / didn't release them, but I had heard somewhere (maybe a hoax ???) that you could get them on tape /cd from somewhere...but sadly I don't know from where (or if true)

Or maybe they could be posted onto the New Tracks --> Live Sets part of this site - I know that they are probably "old and gray" by now, but hey, I'm sure that there are more people on here than just myself that like to listen to some of the stuff from the "good ol days" every once in a while...

Thanks again and sorry if I offended ya !

its not about offending anyone, it is keeping this site alive. The RIAA has targeted web sites way before all these p2p file sharing law suits and has shut down a lot of web sites.

So if we can get permission to share these I am sure swamper would put em on the site to share. However, I don't think he wants to go through all the crap work to get these sets.

so it is a legal issue mainly. its for the good of the board.

Fair play to that !

Anyhow...what about this lil part... does anyone have any suggestions ??? - heard that there was a place in England that does / did them...
