Danny Howellls @ HOB Review

OK so i had never seen or heard Danny Howells before last night but let me just say DAMN!. I really wasnt feelin the music when i got there Jimmy Joslin was playin breaks and we all know i hate breaks. but Danny threw down on of the best house sets ive ever heard, i couldnt ID any tracks except for "Shout" and it sounded like the same mix Ferry spun at Space last weekend. I ran into Rach and the two of us were dancin our asses off front and center to the stage. The vibe was great for HOB, wasnt too crowded, had room to dance. drinks were well priced about $3 for top shelf wells. rach and I stayed untill the end and Danny came down to sign autographs for people and was talkin to us a little bit, hes such a cool guy! He got a pic with me and Rach and I will post that later tonite when i get off from work along with some other pics.
Rach- We were the only TA representation, which is kinda sad cuz i know a lot of people would have enjoyed that set. You are awesome babe, it was great talkin to ya out out on the patio, and you've got me crazy excited for the Guv. I hope you got home safely and you arent hurting as badly as I am today.
Steve (the bartender)- Thanks for hookin me up with the free drinks!
Jeremy- Thanks for getting me in the door for free, it was good seeing you again and "do i detect a hint of Jeager in that shot?" |

That wasn't Ferry that spun Shout. ;) That was one long evening. :D
I wish that I could have been able to come out last night because one of my best friends was auditioning for HOB. I would have loved to have been there to show my support, but that is at least an hour and a half drive for me and I had to work early this morning. I'm glad that you and Rachel had a good time. |

Im really gonna try to make it PVD at Guv and Summerstage.. but if I go to the opening of Glow in DC, then Tiesto 4 days later THEN Toronto and NYC 4 days later thats gonna be nuts, I totally want to I neeeeeeeed $$! cha ching! LOL, we'll see though.. Im really gonna try.
Danny Howells is the man, wow. WHAT A SICK SET.I was VERYYYY impressed~!!! But I knew it would be the since it was him.I wish we had more of that in Orlando seriously...
...Plenty of room to dance which is always nice... decent size crowd... and everyone up front were totally rockin out the ENTIRE time, all these househeads goin nuts it was great ahahha When he played SHOUT that was incredible...that was definitely the hightlight of the night other than when Phil and I talked with Danny after and took a pic with him:toothless Hes hilarious with his accent... TOTALLY down to earth and outgoing talking to everyone afterward! It was a great night, and yes Phil I was a TAD hungover Im not gonna lie.... and howbout what I scored from that random guy for NEXT time awwwww yeAAAA ;) ahahha.. Yo Donald Glaude next wknd, and IBIZAAAAAAAA very soooon hahah. Thanks for the drinks too,btw! :tongue2 |

Damn Rach, you've really caught the travel bug. must be nice to travel around north america, i wish i could afford it myself, but my jetsetting days will have to wait, unless i find a interterm suger momma, but hey YOU enjoy yours while u can, im sure my ship will sail sooner or later, metaphorically speaking. but you should try to fit in montreal on one of your various trips, Aria blows

Sorry about the quality. HOB doesnt allow cams and they make you take everything out of your pockets on the way in, making it impossible to get one in. but i do the best i can with what I've got. Hope you enjoy.
