timing and keeping it all in sync

ok so I put my tunes together to where the change happens every 64 beats but it seems especially with trance that there is a bigger system for buildups and breakdowns and pauses so records will mix smoothly. Can someone give me an idea to what this cookie cutter pattern looks like.Even if someone has already explained it in this thread please give me your explanation as maybe if I get it from more than one source I will comprehend it better. Please refrain from talking in music theory language as I play by feel and ear and have no idea how many beats are in a measure or bar.

Also if you could hear my tune and tell me if I am even close to getting the timing structure right let me know

also remember this is not a review thread so if you don't like anything else besides the timing you can direct them at my friend over there with the whip-------------->:whip:

As I mentioned in my reply on your other thread, you should listen and analyze music that you like. All these technical questions can be figured out all by your self by listining carefully.

Well, I just listened to your track. What is it? Acid-Techno-hardhouse maybe. It sounds good and your build up seems okay. I don't see your problem, just keep on going...

its called dark freeform as it runs at 175 bpms.freeform was originally an offshoot of happyhardcore but as you can see I kinda took it far far away from its parent.Although I can definately say that those were very inspirational genre's for me along with psytrance and hardtechno.I think it would be cool if someone found a way to reunite them as I believe as soon as rave seperated into genre's it got much weaker as a driving force.
BetaFactory
I use 128 beats per pattern. I think that has been the "default" length between e.g. crash cymbals in trance for a long time now.
