guys i was looking back at one of his posts.. remember that thread in chill out room that someone asked what was our star signs.. and everyone was just simply saying.. scorpio.. leo.. cancer. or whatever.. then we got this from palivar... hehehhe it is hilariousssssss.. i can't stop laughingg!!!

it always put me in a good mood when i saw palivar's posts. he's got one of the most unique and smart sense of humor i've seen
my favorite "palivar moment" was in this one post about something like love at first sight and as you reading along you see palivar's pic of a hot chick with the face of Mr. Bean!!! perfect blending in a seductive pose... great pic! i've never laughed so hard alone like that |

if you take a good look at the posts in this thread you will see that almost everyone is giving his opinion on palivar. So you don't have to flame on everybody who doesn't have the same opinion as you do.:whip:
what is so funny about some stupid picture of people eating pizza? Or what is funny about annoying sound files, especially for the people behind a 56k. It's just so irritating that a serious conversation is going on and then some little kid posts this damn pictures. |

I find it bemusing that so many people on TA have absolutely NO sense of humor.... They take everything so goddamn serious, i'm surprised they don't give themselves heartattacks...
To top everything off, this is the chillout room... so chillax man!
And YellowBee's point was not that you don't have the same opinion as her, her point was b/c many people post stupid threads about how others "don't like them anymore"... because they see people post bad about others... exactly what you guys were doing...
Basically, Yellowbee was showing you guys how you are hippocrites, and I can understand how you don't like that :p :p

ummmmmm.. we do usually have sense of humour but sometimes its hard to considering that some of us are on dial-up modem like myself...:rolleyes:
i found Palivar's threads/posts meaningless and twisted(if not obnoxious).:o some of his posts may not have done any harm so i didnt need to really put him on my ignorelist but, it did lagg my whole loading time when he did post pics... :rolleyes:
i dunno where he is at the moment but to tell u the truth i couldnt really care less. i think he'll be back sooner or later just to drop a line or two :p

LoL... dude, almost every single thread in these forums has pictures.. (see: signatures, avatars....) Another 20K Jpeg picture ain't going to hurt.... Not to mention on web pages, TEXT loads first, then pictures..... and to everyone bitching about the sound files: Palivar had stopped that once warned by the moderators.... towards the end of his fruitious career here at TA, there were no sound files included....
And putting someone on IGNORE should be straightforward enough.
But i digress....

Well blaming pallivar for slow loading speeds on a 56k modem does sound a bit like grasping for an excuse to dislike him. The sad thing is that for a fair few of us, his humour didn't exactly stand out. I myself must admit to not having rolled on the ground laughing at anything so far posted by him. Don't get me wrong some of it was pretty funny stuff, but by no means exceptional.
It actually took no small amount of goading and persuasion before his "gem" of a sound byte was removed which WAS very annoying until he fixed the problem. On the whole though i don't mind the guy, I don't think he's exceptionally funny but nor do i dislike him. So leave him be to post his quirky brand of eccentric humour. It does lighten a dull day in truth :)
What i found less then amusing was the way so many pallivar wannabe's popped up trying to imitate him. I mean for crying out loud!! Just be yourselves people, be unique.....it's the best thing you can do :p;) |
