what an amazing party it was...too bad that phil thompson and meat katie werent there (damn my vinyls werent signed) but digweed and steve gerrard rocked the place out
gerrard played a tune that sounded like wavy gravy (it had the intro melody but not the peak) but i asked him and he said it wasnt sasha,if he knows about which track i asked he told me it was a mathew dekay production (but he played symbiosis so he might meant that)
diggers was amazing...didnt know lots of tracks but he played that Raw Power track....damn the place went nuts...he has 2 vinyl bags with him but he only used 3 vinyls...and plaeyd mainly from cds
well he played the track that sasha played on kiss

my question now is.....whats the name of the untitled track!it was in sick!
i got heaven scent signed and asked diggers about making a compilation with sasha...it was noisy so i think he said that they are thinking about it but they are both busy(typical answer:P)
i will post pics tomorrow morning....
edit: i was watching the em tracklist...ok he def. played track 07 from last weeks essential mix,in the start i thought it was lexicon avenue mix on D.m.
btw diggers did the best encore ever for me.....amazing way to stop and to tease the crowd...amazing tune |

| I dont know the track but I love that Diggy talks to the fans. I've had friends tell me they could give him promos and a little convo easily. Thats a great DJ. |

yeap he got a cdr and a minidisc
he is really friendly
i was sitting in front of the decks the whole time (distance between dj and crowd is around 2m) and i asked his manager/helper about signing my vinyls (heaven scent/bedrock remix of chilling moments) and he told me that i should wait and diggerrs would sign them in front of me,then diggers asked him what i asked and after the show i was the first to get signatures :>
in fact he used my marker,and on my way home i forgot that i had it in my backpocket and i couldnt find it and i was yelling "in digweed stole my pen" :P
i havent had so much fun since pvd played here :O |

| Twas a good nite considering im not into prog, thought Digweed played well. Dont have a clue what any of the music was tho. Was a great atmosphere in there as everybody was really up for it |

Digweed owns in every single respect. He is what deejays should try to be like.
a)accessible before and after gigs, happy to talk to anyone about anything, normally cracking one liners
b)Takes his job so seriously, he never smiles but you rarely see diggers up mixing
c)answers emails all the time from people
d)He hates to miss gigs, he got an ear infection, had to cancel his calgary date, so the guy writes a letter himself and get it put on the site of the club he is playing at, a few days before the gig (most deejays just would have been no shows) saying it was beyond his control, he makes every effort to make gigs and he played the city, like 2 months later. That people is caring....not just being a noshow the day of but letting people KNOW IN ADVANCE
you may dislike his music or his deejaying style but no matter what, he deserves your respect
same with Sander Kleinenberg, Timo Maas (always happy to meet people)...no EGO attitude with them. |

i asked him in the end coz i never heard digweed trainwreck before
