I dunno if I'm the only one to notice, but my 'bt openworld' has been changed to btcentralplus.com and I'm wondering if they're going to try bringing in caps or something stupid, I know the latest bt product is 1gig a month limit on data & i'll be ed if i'm going to downgrade to something like that, I guess my main bit of being cheesed is cos I haven't had any contact from them about it, so I'm hoping this isn't a sign of things to come, being in a non-ntl or telewest area

ntl 600k cable rules. started out at 512k, now its 600k, and it'll be 750k soon. ive had it longer than i can remember, easily 3 years, i can count how many times its played up on one hand, and no limits.

I've had little to no problems, I'm just wondering why the change and what they're gonna try doing next

I've got BT as well and i've seen the same thing, I've not heard anything about any changes, I wouldnt expect anything bad to happen. Since I've had broadband (2years ish) i've never had a problem with them so i'm not worrying

yeh ntl cable is pretty much where its at, you just gotta be lucky to get it in ur area. only bummer is the obvious 128k upload, when you get 30k/s upload speeds with other providers namely ADSL you dunno how easy it would be to go back.
