Figuring out drum tracks

I take a music composition class at school, and I am currently undertaking a project in which we have to emulate a favourite tune of ours using the (generally old) synthesizer that we have.
Being a trance fan, i went to find one that could be semi-easily emulated. I chose Masters & Nickson - Out There (5th Dimension) to attempt this.
I got most of it figured out, except the drum track. I have never played drums, nor in the 3 years i've been in the class have i really ever touched a drum track, and i can't really disern all the parts of it.
Does anyone have any suggestions, or able to tell me what the drum sounds are?
Thank you in advance. |

I know the song but dont have it myself.
But whith most trance tracks they use a build-up.
SO if you listen to the 1st minute you can figure out what the sequence of the drum track is!
(i gues ) |

Yes, i've been using it, the bigger problem is when more sounds are layered, the harder it becomes to distinguish the new ones from the old bunch.
Well, back to see if i can get it down. Thanks |
