i just made myself a milk shake with frozen fruits and fresh bananas and ice cubes...hmmmm!
anybody got some cool summer recipes for drinks? :tongue2 |

| making your own lemonade is always good on a hot summer day. i think you have the best idea tho, adding little yogurt is good too. thickens up your blend quite nicely. |

Besides a Bloody Caesar (spicy) {which is my all year favorite drink} my favorite summer drink is the Mojito:
3 fresh Mint sprigs
2 tsp Sugar
3 tbsp fresh Lemon Juice
1 1/2 oz Cuban Rum
Club Soda
In a tall thin glass, crush part of the mint with a fork to coat the inside. Add the sugar and lemon juice and stir thoroughly. Top with ice. Add rum and mix. Top off with *chilled* club soda (or seltzer). Add a lemon slice and the remaining mint, and serve.
Serve in: Parfait Glass |

The Bloody Caesar was made specifically for the gods - I am sure of it.
1 oz Vodka
Salt
Celery Salt
Pepper
1 dash Worcestershire Sauce
1 dash Tabasco Sauce
Clamato Juice
Rim tall glass with celery salt, fill with ice and ingredients. Garnish with a celery stick, straw, and lime.
Serve in: Collins Glass |
