| Definetly check out EBay...you can find some good deals on there on used equipment. I bought two techs on there...1 for $150 and 1 for $200, you just gotta look around for the good deals. |

| Nice! I will check around....pretty expensive stuff as I see it but I guess it takes work...I'll tell you what kind of mixer I got from ebay and what price I got it for once the auction ends! :haha: |

| Well I have checked out my budget and it is quiet low unfortunately. I can only spend 320$ USD on my turntables :( If someone could tell me the best models to go for, for these prices (if any) that would be great. |

The best you're going to get for that is possibly two Stanton str8-80s although they're really not the best decks. The smartest thing to do IMO is to save up a bit more (probably around $400/$450 total) and get techs or at least the stanton str8-100s.
Here's an auction for a pair of str8-80s: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...3723648224&rd=1 |

| well everyone is gonna tell you to buy a used pair of 1200's but thing is you dont really need the ebst decks to start off - ive been mixing for 2 years and i still didnt change my stanton str8-50's wich i payed 367$ tx included CAD ;) ya ok its stanton its a belt drive but itll last much longer than any in numark or USEd techs - 1200's might be the best on the market but if they r used chances are they might have been abused ;) watch out its not worth paying that price to start off - you might not even like mixing - go buy yourself a pair of str-20 (thats what replaces the 50's now its the same thing) in montreal you can get them for 360$+tx - and your sure you want have any problems with them since they r brand new |

| Yeah but Belt Drive turntables are horrible to DJ with. And I would rather just get the Numarks......The used 1200's are amazing...I wouldn't attempt to put them down until you try them. |

| no no i wasnt putting them down they r the ebst on the market! well except vestax :p - but you said you were looking for cheap decks and u have a tight budget so wtv i thought i was helping you out - and numark doesnt even last 6 months before breaking down its in crap - if its a mxier or a cd player or a turntable numark looks good but doesnt last its junk |

bah in my opinion the best thing to do its to buy a technics!!! we dont care if they are used or not!!! its so easy to repair a technics!! , you can change everything on this kind of table,, when you ahve a technics!! you have it for life!
i had 2 gemini xl -500 II before and they suxx like hells!! always broken, the pitch is not stable, etc... i already used some stanton and bah... |

damn stop freaking out people i neevr said stanton was the best i was suggesting it cuz they cost less and they dont break and she/he is on a tight budget - stanton cannot not be comapred to technics of course
jeremie - ya i also had a pair of xl-500 II damn that was crap lol |
