Clubbing is going to be my downfall. I am a starving student as it is...LOL...I've gotta find a way to pay for my clubbing addiction, especially with all the talent coming to SoCal in the coming weeks/months.
I plan on going to the following events:

June 5 - DJ Tiesto (Los Angeles, Giant @ Avalon)
June 19 - Johan Gielen (Los Angeles, Spundae @ Circus)
June 26 - Electric Daisy Carnival (TBA)
July 3 - Sasha (Los Angeles, Giant @ Avalon)

ATTENTION MISS JULIA
HIGHER 9 PRODUCTIONS are in the works on bringing some amazing djs to LA--- if you tell me what days you can go out and see them and which djs you would like to see then i will put a word in and maybe they can work around your schedule---
right now they are looking for a place for at least 1000 people cause they have a few special djs lined up to come to LA- so let me know, and i will be there for tiesto's 2 nite too --- see you all there

I was listening to Mauro's top 10 and honestly, I'm not feeling them. They're more mellow than what I'm used to. I'm used to the Mauro that's all hard and bangin and those top 10 show otherwise.

I went to Amnesia last summer specifically to see, in one night,
Tiesto, Picotto, and Nu-NRG.
Nu-NRG cancelled because their equipment got stuck in Barcelona, but I had the pleasure to talk with them and have drinks together in the VIP section (thanks to my sneakiness).
Tiesto was...Tiesto.
but Picotto completely stole the show. I was already into Picotto's
album work, but he completely ed up live (in a good way)!.
The guy is straight up fun and just all out a wacky funny guy to
watch on the decks. He's been known to have smacked a friend of mine in the face for falling asleep an a pillar next to the DJ booth at Circus. Gotta respect that!!! |
