| Santos, it'd be a good idea to update the first post with a list of the TX TA's for summary's sake, and so that if there are any gaps, whoever wants a TXTA # can take the lowest unassigned number |

this is by no means our complete numbers. some of our older rogue TA's whose names i won't mention *cough*
nah i won't mention names, have yet to decide to check in, oh well. you know who you are.

What about us old timers? do we get any "special" treatment? I am probably the first TX TA ever on this site... maybe 2nd ;) Does that mean i'm #1?
Forgive me as i don't post much anymore. Slightly busy with work, school, etc...
And to answer everyone's questions as to why Texas never got its own forum, its b/c the trance scene has always pretty much blown here compared to the rest of the USA. There can be a million TA's from Texas..... but we won't get any clout until some major DJ's make stops in Texas a MUST on their tour as they do LA, NYC, DC, and Miami...

yeah well we have been getting Tiesto, Ferry, James Zabiela, Danny Howells, PVD, Way out West, Digweed, Marco V, Mark Farina, Gabriel and Dresden, Tiesto comming again, Armin Comming, all in the last 6 months or so. Im sure we can get a forum now.
And most of these have played twice in texas, in different cities and venues. Sure are more to come.. |

Agreed. And regarding the TXTA count ABTsportsline, contrary to what happened initially with people wanting specific numbers etc, the numbers are really mainly for giving everyone an idea of how many TXTAs there are... plus it's first come first serve, so no special treatment. |

| when did Ferry come? I saw him at the WMC 2 years ago right after he got married... he invited me to his wedding party but couldn't make it. VERY nice guy. |

| I think he was here in February. It was at M Bar in Houston. I had a great time and loved his set. I think if we guys stick together we can make a good scene here. Its all about support and helping each other out. That's why the DNB scene is so strong in Texas. We need to get together sometime and discuss things. Also, those of you that wanna play out, give me a pm. After Mad Hatter's we may start throwing more parties in SA and I want to see Trance represented well. I wanna get an idea of who's up to play, and if you have certain requirements to play. |
