How is it a frame-up? The spanish police were the ones to find his fingerprint on the bag of detonators not the Americans. They submitted it to interpol who then told american authorities. Furthermore he hasn't been arressted or charged with anything until authorities can probe whether he was ever in Madrid or not. I would be curious to know how many points matched on his fingerprint. Different countries have different standards for how many points it takes to make a positive id. |

what do you not understand about due process
I'd say pimp your B.S. somewhere else, but hey it's a free society. Be thankful.
the last time alarmists like you piped up about "OMG it s a frame up conspiracy whatever" they got burned in Portland.
"The government’s use of the material witness statute has proved controversial in recent years. Civil libertarians argue that the government has used the detention technique disproportionately against Arab-Americans following the 9-11 attacks. Those concerns sparked protests in downtown Portland over the arrest of former Intel Corp. engineer Maher Mofeid Hawash in the spring of 2003."
"Like Mayfield, Hawash initially was described as a quietly devout man who lived in the suburbs, volunteered his time to worthy causes and doted on his children."
"In that case, however, the protesters turned out to be wrong. Hawash was sentenced to seven years in prison in February for conspiring to join al-Qaida and the Taliban in a holy war against the United States"

Ok then so who's framing him? The Spanish police? As I stated before, the Spaniards provided the US with the fingerprint, not the other way around. |
