ST90 and 100's from Stanton don't have that. SL1200 M3D's don't either. MK5's either i think...

Well if you hate the 0% click than you may want to get a m3d or mk5 instead. The mk2 didn't have a pitch reset switch, so when you set the pitch to 0% it goes to quartz lock there.
Another thing, there's a spring in the pitch fader on the mk2 that i believe can be removed. Once that's removed you won't have the 0% click but you will still have the quartz lock.
(ive seen it done before) |

i personally think you should just spend the extra $200-300 bucks and get the m3d... you wont have quartz lock on it, and you can still keep ur insurence, once you open ur mk2 ur insurence is gone...

they dont make the m3d anymore, u might be able to find used ones on ebay or the for sale/wated postings. but as far as technics the only model that has the pitch notch at 0 is the mk2. m3d, mk5, and m5g do not have the notch, they have the reset button which brings the pitch to 0 regardless of where the slider is. the mk5 is just a newer version of the m3d with an slightly stronger motor and i think they did something with the tone arm too, but someone might have to correct me on that. there are some real techs nuts on here who can tell you anything and everything about the sl-1200 turntables. but since we are on the subject of technics, I love my m3ds!

so i have 2 options now since i dont think i can get anything but mk2 here in israel..
either to hack the techs like here or either i can buy from ebay 2 mk3 pitch sliders and replace it.

either get mk3s or modify mk2 decks yourself. look on the net there are a few guides to modifying 1200s.
