| PVD was playing over here recently and his flight from Germany to Ireland was cancelled so he rented out a car and drove all the way over here. How many DJ's would do that?I wouldn't. |

| But if you were an A-list DJ and booked up for months would you drive for a few day's just to play a gig? It's obvious he didn't do it for the money, just to honour the booking and i have full respect for him after doing that. |

Dude u can't say stuff like that about PvD here, the "cool guys" will think you suck :nervous:
aaaaaaanyway, i think it's just fair that u pick up the artist u invite.
Another example: u invite a friend over u met when u were on vacation somewhere. He comes all the way from another country. I guess it's only polite to pick him up at the airport, no?
And at all u tiesto haters, shuv it, everyone's tired of your stupid remarks about EVERYTHING he does.
A lot of you are just hypocrits who adored tiesto before he got "big".
He wasn't trainwrecking back then and he isn't now, and he brings the people in a good mood.
But oh well, guess it's cool to bitch about pretty much anything you can. I bet u'll gonna be bitchin about your current favorite artist if he ever becomes too big too, although he might not have changed a hair (not talking about people like oakenfold... he changed his hair, it's horrible :D). |

| When u invite someone, u take care of him/her. Doesn't matter if he's paid for it or not. It's not like he asked the club owners if he could plz plz plz plz spin at their club & all |

its pretty standard for djs to get picked up at the airport..if i was a promoter of any night, no matter how big or small..i would pick the dj up just like i would pick up a friend. its simple courtesy, and to say that you wouldnt get picked up for any other job is a bit silly, cos its not any other job..its the music industry, and we all know it doesnt follow the rules of regular employment. if you invite a dj over to play at your club, you should look after him well.
to be honest im certain these comments werent made in spite, and more in joking manner, and mixmag have edited the interview to make tiesto look bad..which has certainly been the result, as these quotes are now all over the internet.as ive already said mixmag are a bunch of lieing s...1 pinch of salt required.
and as for the gatecrasher comments..hes right the republic has no soul anymore.it is |

Is that why he was late for the NEC set, because no one picked him up from the airport, lol.
He probably had one bad experience that pissed him off, or MixMag talks sh1t. And about playing Gatecrasher, he’s got 2 Crasher events coming up in the UK this month, doesn't that say something? |
