hey guys :) had a great time with all the flta's as usual... i went with my good friend Larry ( he was the guy in the bright orange Hurley t-shirt lol),
as soon as we walked in we went upstairs so we could look down and watch the show from above.. then i heard Pat's loud (and unmistakable) " WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" You all know what Im talkin about that high pitched thing he does that you can hear over the whole fkcing crowd at ANY given show! HAHAH! So then from that, I saw all the rest of the TAs and joined the group ;)
Yea so I thought it was REALLLLLLLLY funny how homeboy (hybrid) tried to act like he was playing records the whole time (even pretended like he was SCRATCHING a few times --(freakin HILARIOUS !) --(trust me i saw this from above on the 2nd floor), but in reality played ALL cd's. Yea yea i know djs play alot of cd's these days during their sets but this was just humurous to watch..
then during Luke Chable-Ride...yea "RIDE the TRAINwreck" it shoulda Been!) Or CD-WReck watever you wanna call it lol... that suCKED! right when the song was about to go off it went woiuedje SKIP wifkshrjh SKIP eihdcdehriu SKip Skip!! like 3 times!yikes. :nervous: sounded terrible. Anyway, so we obviously cant give an opinion or judge Hybrids mixing skills since there werent any ..and if there were technology was doing it for them (with the simple push of a button every 4-5 min.,, lol... but TL selection was pretty good, and No *DA*, Finished Symphony was not played that I can recall... kinda sucked- I was really hoping to hear that. Its sooo friggin old skool classic.

Rach i never made it our car broke down on 528 on the way up and AAA took forever to get out to us by the time they towed the car and we got back to merritt island to get another car to take it was already past midnight and we wouldn't get back to orlando till close to 1..so we ended up saying screw it.My friends called me from there hotel party afterward and told me that only chris from Hybrid was spinning for most of the show and mike didn't get there till close to 3 and they were having issues knowing what had already been played.Oh well i was really excited about going but alas :(.We may have to try the whole meetup thing again Rach when Dave Seaman plays in june.Well glad you all had fun :rolleyes: . maybe next time |
