Last night was a blast .. Highlight of the night was when I spotted J00F and the club promoter by the bar and said a few words to John (I think I said I’m a big fan bla bla) so I bought two water bottles and offered one to John and he was like yeah sure thanx and took one :) … Then later on I went out for a smoke and ran into Holden and had some chit chat with James … very nice guy.
Oh and lets not forget the two promoters from “Traffic Events”… cool guys. Speaking of which, Traffic Event’s 2 Year Anniversary is this Monday at Monday Night Social and Holden is gonne spin there. I might go .. we’ll see
Over all, it was a fun and flawless mixing by James & JooF. TA members Tranceaholic and Edowin77 were there too.
Oh and somebody please tell me (besides me and trancealohic)saw that hot chick in short skirt dancing next to Holden before J00F came on. Woooweee .. I stopped paying attention to Holden halfway through the show .. just couldn’t keep my eyes off her :eyes: :eyes: |

I found James Holden to be very good. He was better than Flemming IMO.
Was the chick asian? We saw one of the gogo dancer chicks in the other room who was wearing a nurse type getup. She was amazingly hot! |

I had a blast. Met tons of people I have no idea who they are (they came up to me and would be like, "You're DaveT from !" and it was so loud and I was running around so much I would forget who they were a minute after talking to them. :p ...
Anyhow, anyone who says Holden was better is on crack. J00F's mixing, track selection, simply everything about his set was amazing. It was pure energy with no slowing down.
Holden's set was great, but he tried to do some creative mixing and it sounded pretty wonkey sometimes. Plus it took him quite a while for his set to get really going. There wasn't really even a build up to it all...it was slow track, fast track, slow track, fast track for awhile until he just finally stuck with faster tracks...and there's where I enjoyed him most. He's come a long way from where he was a few years ago DJing but has a ways to go before I will even remotely call him "the next Sasha" like some people claim.
J00F's set shocked me though. I knew it's be great, but I didn't know it'd be as great as it was!!!
I didn't think I would be able to last all the way to the end like I was able to. I was coming off of a week where the most sleep I got was 4 hours on any night and was working 20+ hours a day at E3. But Holden and J00F kept me going and J00F just made me go nuts...I haven't gone that nuts in a long time. It was great!!!
And nice seeing ya Curly. :)
Can't wait for some more amazin' trance w/ Marco V in a couple weeks. Way out West Thursday and G&D Friday, first, though!!

Well, I did leave about 1 hour into Flemmings set, as I have a cold.
We are all entitled to our own opinions, though. haha.

Me too .. maybe because I'd seen J00F few times before and wasn't as much into it as I thought I'd be

No, this chick was armenian but I know which asian chick you're talking about .. when I got to the club, she was dancing in the other room .. what a fine piece of ass she was :D |

No not at Avalon .. check on source7.net for the location -- monday night social? The promoter told me if you get there before 10:30, it's only $5 to get in .. I think $15 after 10:30 |
