I went. Stayed till 3. I really liked Eddie's set. He had great track selection that night. He was the highlight of my night. Infected Mushroom played well and very intensely. It was extremely packed that night and the crowd was very different and very cool. I saw a lot of out of towners and eastern europeans, israelis, and russians - definitely a psy-trance crowd. It made me feel like I was in a club in San Francisco (like DNA Lounge for those who've been to SF)
I am not into goa and thus I didn't stick around as long as I planned. Their set was very goa. Some people like Goa. It's just not my cup of tea. I thought Infected Mushroom was psy-trance and not Goa (There is a difference). I like my psy-trance more like Space Manoeuvers and Eat Static (epic and trippy). Nevertheless, I got to give InfMush credit for packing the club and giving the crowd a great show. There was a burlesque show that opened the event. THAT was unexpected - very Limelight-ish! |
