G'Day Mates!
Heh...I could not resist.
Been in sydney for a little over 24 hours now and damn.....it is so cool.
The people seem pretty nice, though I have not really interacted with many other than the nice young lady at the vodafone store where I bought my mobile phone.
I got some nice pictures yesterday but have no way to upload them right now...I will probably just wait till I get home and do mass upload of all my pics.
I was thinking of going to see Dave Seaman tonight but it appears that tix are sold out so there is probably little chance of me getting in...oh well....I have a lot of other things to do here other than going to a club...
Enjoy the steamy 80+ days with rain in Chitown...it is upper 60s and sunny here :D
Damn I don't want to go home lol...

No thanks on the vegemite...I have 3 jars of it in my cabinet at home (was the smallest volume I could buy in the states and I felt I just HAD to try it).
That crap is nasty....
Victoria Bitter is a damn tasty beer though.

Heh...I thought of you last night...there is according to the offical Sydney Guide, a well rated restaurant called "Eleni's" in one of the suburbs. And it is Greek food no less. :eek:
Beautiful weather today...went to Bondi Beach...saw some women sunbathing sans-tops. :eyes: Walked along the cliffs.....
Was a nice nice day....off to do more wandering now actually....

I am spending my time doing touristy stuff....I just take fifteen minutes here and there to peruse the forums (mainly to see if the Sydney TA's have responded to my thread/posted anything going on this week).
I am currently waiting for 9 am to hit so the stores will be open and I can buy a light jacket.....I forgot to pack one (even though I planned to) and it is a tad bit chilly here in the mornings, especially riding the ferry across the harbour.
