Ok I'm a big newbie here in software.

I need to mix to song with soundforge cause thats all I have.
I need to start the second song at the end of the other but like 3 seconds before then end with the end still there. All I'm able to do right now is overwrite so the end of the song disappear to put the beggingin of the other over it. I need to have them at the same time.

Can anyone tell me how to do that ??? No need to beat match cause anyway one is a Rumba and the other one is a ChaCha ( It for a dance show ). I whould have like to do it on my mixer with my computer a cd player but I didn't receive the mixer yet it in the mail :P and my show is in 2 days. So I really need sound forge to work.

If you guys tell me it impossible with that program I will find another way.

Thanks for the help

Hi,

If my memory hasn't failed me, then do it this way:

First copy the wave file you want to have as the second in line (the last song). Then go to the opened wave file for the first track, select where you want the other one to come in, and from the upper menu, choose "paste as..." or something similar to that. In that menu, you can choose between several choices, but choose the option that I believe is called "mix" or has a similar name. There you can choose how many 100% you want of each the tracks. That's about it. So yes, it is possible in SFG.
