Also what popped up in google, which was disturbing, was Rate My Corpse. It's a twisted version of Hot or Not. Ugh. |

yah man its an actual baby born with a hard shell plating. but its all ed to . the eyes are ed. the eyes are just swollen red things. it looks like an alien. i wasnt shock very much when i saw it. i was just amazed something could look that ed. Ive also heard of a very rare condition were the baby is born very litte/without any bones. |

no the harlequin fetus is not born with a shell :rolleyes: :p
i won't go into the hardcore details (mainly cos i don't remember them :p) but its basically a load of genetic defects that results in the baby being born with myxedema (dry flaky skin), the skin pigmentation is red-ish, the baby will have thryoid deficiency, resulting in cretinism which includes dodgy eye and bone structure. Various other things like an underbite, perhaps cleft palate, and incorrect facial structure make it look gargoyle like, with its eyes being impeded by the cheekbone and orbital bone structure. I believe the eyes are bloodshot too? |

I've seen a lot of disturbing things (including ******* and the goatse guy) but i have to say one that stuck with me for a long LONG time was the maggots in the gums picture.
Even thinking of it now makes me wanna go clean my gums till they bleed. |

that reminds me of 3 things:
1. maggots in someone's brain which is sorta disgusting but not disturbing
2. maggot in someone's eye which is disgusting as well and a bit disturbing, though i've seen it too many times
3. a supposedly failed shotgun suicide where the dude has no face left
don't look at those, especially 3 |

My dad reckons that that baby isnt real because they are not allowed to keep things like that alive.. is this true? |
