I'm trying to say is why does everyone start flame wars on this site.
People are intitled to their opinions in this country at least!

C'mon guys and gals, tone down the rhetoric.
He/she is simply asking for advice, more likely regarding how on their toes they should be in country than @ the border.
Afterall, in the US the cops swarm and beat you down for a joint in a public place.. hell, even a security guard in a VIP room @ an LA event recently turned over Andy Dick to the cops for lighting a joint.
I don't think some of you realise the Xanadu we have here socially compared to the US. I can walk into any club in the GTA, and discretely obtain whatever I desire, and if I respect the club, and go sight unseen in what I partake in, go unmolested on my evening.
Perhaps the fact that weed in public is somewhat of a heatscore compared to other drugs, but bottom line is if you have friends here, ask them upoin arrival, or be selective in who you ask for help in obtaining what you want while your out. Like anything illegal, there is a risk involved, and you need to decide if you want to risk drug charges in a foreign country. |

Being uninformed leads to someone who ultimately makes a poor decision, and in the US, one poor decision can cost you YEARS of your life. |

1) I was implying that 99% of Americans have no idea that Canada doesn't have a president, but rather a prime minister.
2) No , drugs are illegal in Holland, but man, I've been there (well amsterdam rather) and you at least have to admit that it's more lax there. Sorry but it's true.
*nudge, coke, pills, heroine* (on any given tuesday afternoon) |
hehe dont worry i got your sarcasm... yea they dont give a in holland.. they're prisons are already filled with so much other they don't want any more people in there due to drug related incidences.. if u get caught with like 5kg of coke all the officer does is confiscate the and say get outa here. |

clubcashu, why don't you stick around a little bit in this forum and notice that people rarely speak of club drugs here in the open. this site is not a drug den.
if you want to ask about drugs then PM some US peeps that come to Canada and maybe they will be able to tell you their experiences. Would you go to someones house and ask them in front of their whole family if it is ok to do drugs there? no.
drugs are a separate issue that what this site is for.
we don't want narcs on such just as bad as you don't want to get caught. |

I'm not intending on starting a flame war, but merely to be informed in my and my friend's decision making process regarding illegal drugs. I don't see why half the people have to get so bent out of shape....many people take drugs both in the US and Canada, and being informed both in the risks of taking the drugs and the laws surrounding those drugs is extremely beneficial. Being uninformed leads to someone who ultimately makes a poor decision, and in the US, one poor decision can cost you YEARS of your life. Some may consider that risk to outweight the reward. It's merely my intent to be able to access what the perceived risk is, and whether or not is it worth it to bring any drugs into the country. In America our police force is very vigilant and unbending when it comes to illegal drugs, but if you have a shady doctor you can blow your entire world up on oxy. It's pretty f'd up. |
If you get nailed with anything other than pot, then you're as ed as you would be in the states. Pot laws are quite relaxed over here, but it doesn't mean you should spark up a joint in front of a cop.
If you are driving over the border with stuff, then I would make sure everything is consumed in Canada before you head back to the US. Coming into Canada is a joke, but getting back into the US can be a nightmare (searches occur quite often). Drugs like E typically only migrate from Canada to the US and not the other way so nobody searches for it when you enter the country.
