ok maybe i dont give up!!
there a 2m x 2m platform, surrounded by a 1 metre wide void (ie bottomless pit)
being the greedy bastard that you are, u wanna get the treasure on the platform, but u only have 2 sticks which are .9 metres long, what u do?
oh and u cant jump cuz ur actually on jupiter and gravity owns u pretty bad
so again, the total area is 4m x 4m, and inside of thie theres a 2mx2m platform surrounded by a 1 metres think void |

this is a total guess off the top of my head, but do you place one of the boards across a corner and then the other board across to the island? kinda like a "T" from the corner... |
