View this Thread in Original format DiMethGuy I remember something in windows 98 or the like that you could click to view your desktop as a web page. Meaning that all the icons and taskbar were hiddden leaving you a nice full screen shot of your desktop wallpaper. Is there anything equivalent in XP?! PEACE MaRt Yes. On your desktop, right-click, highlight 'Arrange Icons By' then go across and down to the option 'Hide Desktop Icons'. Your desktop will then be free of all icons. To hide the taskbar, or at least make it so that it only appears when you place your cursor at the bottom of the screen, right-click the taskbar and select 'Properties'.
