Why all progressive trance?

| Are any of you guys into hard trance or acid trance? Progressive is kool and all, but no one really mentions hard,acid, or any other kind of trance. |

| yea prog is becoming the new cool thing to like, and because of that artist are just throwing the name progressive on all their choons. I mean some of this "progressive trance" is in trance. Who cares if what you like is called trance. |

I am a HUGE fan of Hard and acid.
To be honest, there is't one for of trance I don't like, but Hard trance is up there at #1 :tongue3
In Oz, our dj's are experimenting hardstyle, which is taking Hard trance to a new level...that's something still to get use to...

You know i was listening to "forme" by gwill morris while reading this statement and i thought that the main synth completely sounded like a baby-toy melody. Lol. It still has a psychedelic edge though, a "boards of canada-IDM" kinda thing and thats only good in my book. I love this new IDM-edged progressive/trance hybrid its really a breath of fresh air in the formulaic trance scene. |
