Hello,

Well Orbax I took your advice into consideration with some other research and decided a GSX-R wouldn't be a good bike for me. So I decided to go for another. Here is it.

This is a 1992 Yamaha Fzr 600 Genesis Model. This bike has been garaged its whole life. It only has just over 11,000 miles on it. This bike is 100% stock and still has the factory stickers on the gas tank and windscreen. Everything is nice and clean. Paint looks beautiful. It has a brand new battery and is all tuned up ready to go. The chain looks nice and not used the fork seals are all tight this bike has been adult owned and garaged.

This bike is in almost mint condition has very small scratch on back left tail fairing other than that everything is great. The tires are almost new. The brakes feel and look new as well.

They guy wants 2800 for it and 400 to ship it to me. I'm thinking of offering him 3000 even. What are your opinions on it?

Here are some pictures:

try 2500.

its not a bad bike, i owned a 1998 FZR 600 for a year (looks identical except the color). you could probably find a bike this one a bit closer to you and not have to pay to ship it.

Hey, a kid at my school rides that bike :D

That price is sounding just about right, but id just do a cycle trader or some search to get a general range of what those are going.

I mean, mine was a 1998 with 10k miles for 5300, so add another 6 years...doesnt sound like too bad of a deal.

I dunno though. Its a good bike, and I think youll have fun with it.

boo to the dual swing arm :p

hehe just kiddin. Yeah those are fun as hell.

So that guy hasnt taken it out once a month and started it up? Is it going to need a going through on the fuel injection system? Oil change? when was last tune up if its not been running?
