Hey... I'm kinda new around these parts & just saw this thread, but noticed the lack of judges and would be interested in helping out if that's okay? I'm unfamiliar with the contestants so that would offer some nice unbiasedness:D ...last year I helped judge in a DJ competition at mpfspromotions.com... did pretty constructive reviews for all 18 participants. I care little about the style of the set/tunes, whether it's my particular style and all that, more about the overall completeness of the set & the structure, as well as how good the mixing is obviously.
Let me know if I'm eligable or anything :) |

Well my set is posted, and I guess we will see how I place. I am rather happy with it. Good tracks and it flows nicely, waiting to see if others agree. Goood luck to all the DJ's out there.

Got my playlist sorted out, mixing is 85% there, theory is sound, just gotta do it all in the one'r. The hardest bit for me is recording a mix. It's like doing a public speech. As soon as someone hits record the nerves tremble, the hands quiver, the knees go etc lol. Have my entry up soon.... |
