| Margs I'm an expert at popcorn. Put it at 2 mins 30 seconds...the bag isn't QUITE as full...but premature popcorn is always the bset. |

lol, neither have I really made a "perfect" bag of microwavable popcorn! Mind you I rarely eat popcorn b/c it ALWAYS get's stuck in my freakin' teeth! My old roommate used to pu tit in for less time to over see the burnt popcorn, maybe try that - but you will have a lot of kernels left over!

That changes according to microwaves though. I know if i put my popcorn in there for 2.30 mins it would come out burnt to a crisp. Mine does 1.45 mins and comes out perrrrfect. |

| Honestly just follow the 2-3 seconds between pops rule, i have a microwave that takes a incredible 6min and one that takes 3, either way i put it on for more then it needs and just wait for the pops, perfect porpcorn. |

Have you ever tried JiffyPop before Margs??
Or if you really want popcorn that bad, try doing it old school style and get a maker and kernels and have the machine pop it for you. It definitely won't burn that way. :)
I know after 1:50 in mine the popcorn is done. Anything longer and it will be burnt. |

Hahah oh it sure can Jenn! I LOVE old fashioned popcorn. We have a machine...it's about to die...the cover is so cracked...but I can'tfind a replacement so I'm trying to keep this as long as I can!
Anyway...if you leave it plugged in too long after the popcorn is popped it'll burn a bit...not as badly as microwave but a tad. |

some microwaves are more powerful than others.
the instructions on the bag are merely guidelines.
usually u have to wait till you hear a 1-2 second delay between pops to get the best results. |
