josh and i have been very busy putting together our mix cd for nettwerk records - it will be a two disc affair with lots of unreleased tracks that we have done as gabriel & dresden and individually as well as music from other producers.
we've completed two new original gabriel & dresden songs specifically for the mix album as well as a remix of dido's "don't leave home", and a new andain version of one of our most requested bootlegs. it will also have the new version of josh's "alive" on it which blows all the other versions away!
as for josh, he has been staying home because his wife just had another baby and he's playing daddy for the next few months while i fly all by my lonesome to do the gigs on the weekend. josh will be playiing the s.f. gig on the 21st and the turkey and greece gigs in the beginning of june and also the one in puerto rico date in mid june. we will be going out as a duo full time at the end of july.
a good part of this year has seen us moving houses and travelling which has taken us away from the studio. we plan on making lots of music now that we're settled and all the babies are born.
