| see i could read all that... but in the end of that i read blabla a lot of wars are fought for political ideologies and this makes COMPLETE sense......however, if the Muslim system, their law and politics, didnt have so much religion wrapped up in it...maybe id agree. |

"God Told Me To"
easiest, most hard to prove/disprove statement on earth. Besides "emotional damage".
Why dont you guys see that religion is the easiest excuse for ANYTHING. People sell all their worldly possessions and help people because God Told Them To. People kill others Because God Told Them To. Calling someone Good or Evil has been the simplest form of labeling and tends to overstep that bound even further to label Good as Us and Bad as Them. Its like a national history that anyone can immediately become part of. The Germans tried to reclaim the mother land (as did Russians) but not many people who werent Russian were willing to partake in that.
Religion on the other hand is a code of ethics, but has that vague "and there is a God that talk to you and stuff" message attached to it.
Charlatans and Tricksters the world over use images of the God and Devil because those images are so powerful, so clearly defined in each persons head, that NOTHING MORE NEEDS BE SAID. ITs an expediantway to get what you want.
England wanted to have an empire so large the sun never set on it. Oh yeah, and uh, God wants us to. Bullllshiiittt. Crusades were and EXCUSE to do what they really wanted to do, which was wipe out the middle east and take over the trade routes.
Grow up! |

religion is just control for the masses, which is true, but so are laws that protect everyone. having laws is more important imo than religion but that doesnt mean that religion is useless.
having a moral guide is not necesarrily a horrible thing. some poeple may benefit from it.
just becasue you are not immoral and may not need religion does not mean everyone is too. |

no i'm not. this has nothing to do with religion but with history, you have to know that what this man wrote is not true. On religion you can have any opinion you want but history is something real.
just for you though |

| quote: | | The Crusades of the 13th century were larger, better funded, and better organized. But they too failed. The Fourth Crusade (1201-1204) ran aground when it was seduced into a web of Byzantine politics, which the Westerners never fully understood. They had made a detour to Constantinople to support an imperial claimant who promised great rewards and support for the Holy Land. Yet once he was on the throne of the Caesars, their benefactor found that he could not pay what he had promised. Thus betrayed by their Greek friends, in 1204 the Crusaders attacked, captured, and brutally sacked Constantinople, the greatest Christian city in the world. Pope Innocent III, who had previously excommunicated the entire Crusade, strongly denounced the Crusaders. But there was little else he could do. The tragic events of 1204 closed an iron door between Roman Catholic and Greek Orthodox, a door that even today Pope John Paul II has been unable to reopen. It is a terrible irony that the Crusades, which were a direct result of the Catholic desire to rescue the Orthodox people, drove the two further—and perhaps irrevocably—apart. |
Yes,unfortunately when the european barbarians saw the beautifull constantinoupoli with the various luxuries, the towers, the technology and the city-lights(!) at nighttime they were so impressed they wante'd to have the city for themeselves.(that's because they wante'd to bring closer catholicism with orthodoxy:stongue: :stongue: :stongue: )The result is the following:"in 1204 the Crusaders attacked, captured, and brutally sacked Constantinople, the greatest Christian city in the world." And remember the crusades were originally against the mohamedans ONLY, not ANY christian... |

Not only do they attack us with bombs (Madrid, etc.), but they attack us with immigrants.
Yes, that's right. Mass muslim immigration is part of Bin Laden's plot to reconquer Europe.
Havn't you heard his tapes?

When Jesus came he stopped and literated bmore on several laws because they were being overused and the priests where being hypocritical in following them this letter is just plain ignorant
even if you dont beleive in the law in leviticus the new testament says "do not kid yourself neither murders, nor liars , nor prostitutes, nor HOMOSEXUALS shall enter the kingdom of heaven"
it cleary states they are same as murders liars and prostitutes and that it is a sin... |
