speaking of "his version"; In A State on this album is apparently MUCH MUCH better than his released remix.

how do you think I feel?

I'm going away to Poland on June 11th until August 20th. I've waiting to see him again ever since LOL2, and I don't think I'll be able to see him in Europe, unless he's somewhere close to Poland because I won't be able to afford going to the UK or whatever.

...he mentioned several times in interviews that it was so exciting cause he really got all the seperate parts of the tracks. Just like he presented ADD at his site, with all the loose parts ect.

I guess you got to leave something intact of the original, but it gives endless opportunities to really make the tracks work to fit in the mix. Imagine just the snare or a baseline of the track 2nd after the track currently playing.. subtile things like that. Blending tracks together to a point you really dont know what's what.

If you get the track as a whole there is only so much you can do with it. Thats like the difference between a mixer with just 3 decks to play with and a whole digital mixing desk with all the sounds seperatly of all the tracks in the mix each under his own fader to mess around with...

from a user on the GU Forums. Great comment on how the album was done.

listened to the full length promo (77:14 is full length right?).

Anyways, this compilation is probably the best compilation I have listened to in years. I actually questioned whether or not this was the real thing because I couldn't recognize even the few songs i knew from the tracklisting until Burma came in. His tweaking, loops, reworking is simply incredible. The mixing (probably digitally done i'm sure but nontheless...) is superb. The album flows beautifully and very well programmed.

that said, his rework of Felix Da Housecat - Watching Cars Go By, although well made, was really a bad choice. It's cool to listen to on it's own or in an electro set or something, but totally throws off the flow from the first 60 mins of the compilation and then his Ulrich Schnauss remix goes back to the flow from before.

i'd give it a 9/10, would have been 9.5 if it weren't for the standalone electro track ;) will definetely have to pick this up on the 22nd

"Burma" almost brought me to tears, heard digweed blast it at Fabric a few weeks ago. INCREDIBLE. (that sasha edit as well)

I think the "in a state" edit is ing brilliance, I got goosebumps.

Sasha, how can they say you are washed up!??! AMAZING

Well, I've downloaded this album. Burma track is indeed really great.

But... I have a question?? How the hell do you dance to this stuff?? I mean this album is great for listening at home while reading, doing homework, etc.. But in a club environment??

I listened to this cd a couple days ago, and I have to say it's so beautiful! I'm not really into breaks, but I think this cd converted me! I especially LIKE trakcs 5, 6, 7, 8, 9!! :eyespop:
