Hi there, i'm not a DJ myself but a gud old fan of trance instead,

I love a bit of the old trance and I remember a loonnng way back in either summer 2000 or 2001 (i cannot remember exactly which) that DJs Fans and Freaks was released. I'm not sure if it was the original (although it was very likely because of the how long ago it was).
It was a real club like version, the sort used by DJs in clubs and on the air and it was the best tune i ever remember listening too (even today).
It was mixed many a time on the radio with Cosmic Gate's "Fire Wire".

The problem is I can only find remix versions of DJs Fans and Freaks (providing this wasnt a remix and that it was called DJs Fans and Freaks?).
I have searched the web endlessly for albums etc but have only found the Cosmic Gate Remix version (which i already have on Addicted to Trance 2002).

I think I am looking for DJs Fans and Freaks because it is the identical music to the my remix version on CD (just much much better).

The version I heard really was a ace tune and I really want to find it for my collection to playback this summer!

I know calling it a full on "club" version isnt very helpful, but were talking sharp, loud, deep, vibrant sound here ppl with a strong beat etc, a really powerful and exciting tune overall, making it so good for clubs and DJs.
A
s i said, it was often mixed onto the end of Cosmic Gate's tune "Fire Wire" as they went together very neatly.
Any one have any ideas where I can find this lost relic (or even have a clue what I am talking about)?

Thanks for the reply, i never knew there were so many remix versions!

The problem is I cant find any websites with decent (or any) sample tracks so I can identify the music before I buy anything.
Any good sites ppl can recommend for this?

I also have an unidentified remix version if someone can ID it? Sample, 227Kb, MP3, 40kbps, 46 sec. http://www.mendipcomputing.co.uk/files/dff.mp3

(And yes, I am aware of the spelling mistake in the song title.)

Try www.planetxusa.com. You'll have to register a username and whatnot but they have several audio samples of D.F.F. for you.
