I noticed on the site there are no reviews posted has anyone here tried it and would you recommend it? If not any other soft synth we are over looking for trance?

I've tried it, and I must say it's pretty cool. You can get some great sounds out of it. Much much better than the old Superwave P8. Trance-Pro definitely fits me. One thing that keeps bugging me is this problem where when I first start up an FLP or when I export it, the synth always starts with all these filtery Q sounds when the synth starts playing. It goes away after about five-ten seconds of play, but I'm getting this weird problem. Otherwise it's great-- great sound and very usable presets with some tweaking and some FX.

i don't like this synth... the interface looks promising but the sound quality is horrible :\

it sounds always too dull and muddy.

I agree with Stephenox and thecYrus although not about start up problems, I havn't experienced those, if coupled with a good parametric EQ then you can get it sounding nice easily.

made with synth edit = horrible sound quality

They both have conflicting views.. how can you agree with them both..?

I have seen the startup problems. I just let it play once for a few seconds, then no more problems. I disagree on the muddy sound comment though. It sure sounds clean and clear on my system:gsmile:

Best VSTi (by best I mean it sounds the closest to hardware) is z3ta 1.40.. 2nd best is either VAZ or v-station...

Agreed that the superwave is not the best VSTi, but for $29 it's not bad at all. And a good setup for sound tweaking... Lots of fun to play with.
