Summers End Review

What a party, and good end to an amazing summer for me!!!

Got there at around 12:00-12:30, the line up was from the warehouse all the way to Charlies!!! But we greased the bouncer and in we went!

Went straight to the main room to hear Timo Maas... Well let me tell you he plays really f-cken hard and he didn't sound that bad at all but i really don't like his style of music so i can't really say anything bad about his music... The only thing i didn't like about the main room was that it was literally a sardine can at about 100 degrees celsius! can't even breath let alone dance!

So off i went to hear Dj Sneak, i'm not one for house but when i got there my night started!!! First off the warehouse (oops, Kool Haus)is by far superior to the Guv in terms of cooling; it was the ideal temperature in that room with ample room to dance!!! Well i don't know what it was about the tunes Sneak was dropping but let me tell you they made me move!! His mixing is flawless, with world class song to song transitions... What a party!!!

Then i went to hear Jez Ansell who i knew nothing about and what a surprise this guy was.. He play some sick jams and also got me going... I went for a hot dog brake in the parking lot and when i came back in Ansell drop the tune 5 below 0 - club quake; which completly freaked me out!! what a en song! then he droped another couple of songs, one where all the lights came on, fire works went off and the whole place was jumpin! what a lift that song had, crazy..

Off i went to see Kenny Glasgow; turns out that my best friend knows Kenny, so there i was on stage standing behind Kenny while watching him spin (not a bad set, a little boring at times though) and watching the crowd, amazing... Then Dave Clarke came on (i got introduced to Kenny at this point) and he just ripped the out of the place.. i mean then guy came on and he had this face on him like he was on a f-cken mission to impress... this guy was doing with the mixer that was blowing my mind , he was ing it up like crazy!!!!! he would make an ordinary song into a hype, crazy, get the crowd moving toon!! the guy was unreal, and HARD but good... However by this time i was feeling the effects of partying all night long so i left at 6:30am...

I've got picks of Timo Mass, Dj Sneak, Kenny Glasgow and Dave Clarke which are going to be developed this week and i'll try to post them...

I saw Swamper there but no other trance addicts!!! anyway, time to get some sleep!!! :eyes:

FUUUUUUUUUUUUCK I missed Club Quake!!! :( :( :(

I can't believe it... dammit... UGH.. I would have loved to hear that inside guv - especially since it was my top pick in the last update.. heh :)

i don't know if you remember but when i came up to you and told you that he just dropped a wicked tune? actually it was right when me and Teena went inside after all three of us were outside in the parking lot...

all in all not a bad freakin night

hit iDance to warm things up. not a bad scene. crowd wasn't quite there, but caught some decent sets.

summer's end was pretty bumpin. i hadn't been to a big party in a while, so it was good to get in the groove again.

the lines were pretty horrible. bad org. by the time we freakin got in there they weren't lettin anyone into the main room. so i only got to see 30min of Timo's set. that was a in piss off. in the meanwhile though, onionz and then paul walker carried my night away. i don't know how, but walker was just dropping some crazy crazy . anyone in the orange room knows what i'm talkin about.
things really picked up with a little Glasgow and then the whole night just got blown away with the old master himself Dave Clark. Wow. WOw Wow. OUch, that man has skills. I was hurtin after he hit me with just some pounding techno. there was no way i was leaving early.

good times
needed that to finish off an abismal summer

alls i have to say is DEKO - ZE rules, iv seen him twice now and he really kicks ass, iv never seen a dj get the crowd pumping as much as he does, he was playing in the orange room the same time jez arsnel was playing.

We got to the GUV early around 11....I hate standing in line and I knew with idance ending that things would pick up quickly and they did...before I knew it TImo was on the decks....not a bad set .....I spent some time in the orange room and caught DEko-ZE...fun fun fun ...he's spinning in London this weekend and I can't wait to se him again....The best for me was kenny G....I was in the mood for some hard beats that night and he delivered....yeah ....Now I would of stayed for Dave Clarke ......except for one of the people we came with did not behave themselves and decided to have a "dream"...grrrrrrrr god dammit save it for after the party....screwed up our plans...so we left shortly after dave came on .....Oh Well it happens...anyways CHeers
