as I said, it's not a big event. just a regular saturday night I guess. and the negotiations are still running, I guess that's why they haven't written about it on the site yet.
I'm gonna upload a 30 minute turntable mix next week, if you like it, you're more than welcome when/if I play ;)
btw Suomi Rules!! Orkidea, Super 8, JS16 etc I love them all :D |

Okay. If it's Hallmark you should bring your trance 12"'s for sure. Perhaps you have heard of DJ TAB (who released the track "Verso" lately). He is resident at Hallmark, and a few years ago he also played trance sets in the national radio (x3m), once in a month or so.
Nice to hear about such an organisation. Must be very interesting to be able to travel around a bit. |

labyrinth used to be a huge organizer in the finnish scene! huge parties, but not too often afaik. they haven't organized any parties under the labyrinth name for a while now (2 years or something?!)
i think they've changed their name to pacifique and are coming back to organize parties under that name maybe?
it also says:
"Whay if the prophecy is true?"
on the labyrinth website! that could mean something! |

No, no... That www.pacifique.fi page was made just for that one party held last winter and that "What if the propechy is true?" text was just for hyping the event when there was no official info yet. They just haven't deleted the page yet.
Labyrinth pages still exists, you just have to avoid redirecting:

| Yes, pacifique is the name of the party. Organized by Labyrinth and Unity together. The party before pacifique organized by labyrinth was labyrinth summer sound system, in 2002. Before that there was labyrinth in cable factory in 2001. |

Don't take things so hard :D Besides that page might have caused the confusion that the club would be called Pacifigue..
And CJ InterCity: _DONT_ bring any hiphop records or you'll get a mad audience! ;) Our small "scene" is quite well-informed about electronic music and no one expects pop or pop-trance. |

first of all, thanks for keeping this topic in english :toothless
I've just been updated on the situation: the club is NOT called Pacific. it was my mistake. the event "will be held in the same location as pacifique" where that is, you know better than me. There won't be any big names, so don't expect too much, but the main genre will be trance and progressive (in other words, music for you serious party people;)) and if everything goes well it will take place in august. More info will be on the organizers website and so, when time comes...
The hungarian agency I was lucky enough to get signed to (Real DJ) has a lot of good unknown DJs, and I have to admit most of them are better than me imo, so in the end they might pick another DJ instead of me.
hmm that's about it. if anyone happens to be in Hungary this summer come to "Club Palace" at lake Balaton cause I'll be spinning there in august :D
btw are any of you DJs? have you had any gigs yet? I don't know much about the finnish trance scene, maybe you can update me a little? :) |
