FT Malaga 2 - 3 Real Betis
FT Racing Santande 0 - 1 Deportivo
FT Bilbao 3 - 4 Atletico Madrid
FT Celta Vigo 1 - 2 Mallorca
FT Espanyol 2 - 0 Murcia
FT Real Madrid 1 - 4 Sociedad
FT Sevilla 1 - 0 Osasuna
FT Valencia 0 - 1 Albacete
FT Valladolid 3 - 0 Villarreal
FT Zaragoza 2 - 1 Barcelona

So.... Real madrid lose 5 in a row... finish 4th behind Deportivo & Barca, Espanyol survive with the remaining 2 places in Segunda Liga going to Vallodolid & Celta Vigo (12 months makes such a difference eh, 4th to 19th)

aww i kinda liked celta :(

glad for real getting only 4th though, figo and queiroz may be on there but i can't stand the 'galacticos' superstars crap

Losing 4-1 at home. I know Sociedad are a good outfit but the has really hit the fan at the Bernabeu.

They'll have to make some serious changes this summer because people are beginning to work out how to get results out of Real Madrid and even the smaller sides are beginning to go to the Bernabeu with a bit of confidence. Walter Samuel will help the defence but that won't be enough.

Levante, Numancia and Deportivo Alaves are promoted whilst Celta Vigo(!), Valladolid and Murcia are relegated. Athletic Bilbao take the UEFA Cup place.

Bye bye Celta... see you (NOT) very soon...

As for Real, if this form had begun earlier, they'd be sharing the same fate as the Vigo club. Oh well. Perhaps next year they'll really drop down.

It's weird cos Barca have been resurgent & Real have dropped, they won't tolerate another year like this tho, so it'll be interesting to see how it all goes for next year

The end of the season couldn't come soon enough for Real could it?
Plastick
Yay f**k it! Twice betted big on RM in the 5 losses and there I go...

Queiroz has been sacked, Camacho (Benfica and former Spain manager) is his replacement.

Shame for Celta, they had a good team last year they finished 4th!

LOL! with Madrid :haha:

:( Sad to hear that, I was really liking the work he was doing at Benfica...

I can't be any happier about Madrid this year... everyone in England was suddenly a Madrid "fan" with the white Siemens kit after DB moved there...

HA!!

ps: and why oh why are the people so sad in this country as to shave their heads when their idol does. do they honestly think they are going to look like him??

I hate seeing people with the Real Madrid shirts as well. Half of them couldn't give a about La Liga anyway, just jumping on a bandwagon. Suppose they'll all be out buying Valencia tops this summer, which will be funny cos all the wasps will attack them
