JOHN ACQUAVIVA has been a mainstay of the electronic dance music scene since the founding of Plus 8 Records with partner Richie Hawtin back in 1989. After over 20 years behind the decks, John is acknowledged by many as a DJ’s DJ and is a long-time veteran of the international clubbing circuit and most-recently has been a proponent of the Final Scratch technology, which allows him to access a digital library of music by manipulating vinyl on the decks. John’s music, vision and full embrace of technology is ushering us into the future. Joining him on the decks is CHRISTIAN SMITH, a well recognized and much in demand DJ across the world and co-head of Tronic Treatment. His ability to combine a diverse mix of hard pumping house & tribal funky techno has garnered him worldwide attention with his sets, all segued with a foundation that includes tight three turntable mixing and creative scratching and programming.
