| Hey everyone. I'm sure this has happened to many of us. I saw Tall Paul this past weekend at Buzz in DC. I listen to trance just as much as the next person and I usually recognize most of what I hear. However he played 2 songs that I have never heard before and that totally blew me away. I still have them intact in my head and have been singing them mentally for fear of losing them forever. I have scoured all the clips in the Unknown section in hopes of finding them but nothing. What do you all do when you have a song in your head with no lyrics and you want to find it? I could sing it and upload the track but I know you all would die laughing! :) I just don't even know where to begin. Any good websites that have samples that I could go through? One more thing. Has anyone here ever heard of the Sony eMarker? Maybe somebody has one and could answer this question. Its a little device that fits on your keychain and when you hear a song on the radio that you don't know who its by, you press this button on the emaker, then when you get home it hooks up to your PC and it identifies the song! I was just wondering how this works and if it would work at a rave. Imagine just hit the button when you hear a song and not have to worry about identifying it. www.emarker.com Thanks everyone! |

that emaker sounds like a great idea, I've never heard of it but when i checked the site it says it's closing down. Oh well, what a swell idea though.
Second, you shouldn't worry about people laughing at you if you hum the song and upload it or something:D It would all be worth it if you finally get the song that you want. I mean, I've been tempted to try and hum the entire song myself. I'm sure if you do it others will follow:D and if everyone does it, than it would just be a normal thang, so don't sweat it. Just sing/hum/clap your hands/stomp your feet...whatever. I remember I was in another forum one time and one guy actually humm the song for about 2 minutes and upload it. Everyone died laughing, but he got the song that he was after in about 1 hour. It was all worth it though, it was classic! So yeah, it's been done before. |

| I can't believe what just happened to me! I was going through some of my most recent downloads and saw a song that I didn't recognize. I play it and I'm not kidding it brought tears to my eyes. It was one of the songs that I was looking for! Its Push - The Legacy. Hearing that that night just blew me away. 1 down, 1 more to go... |
