$500 for Native Instruments Komplete 2, good deal?

My setup right now consists of protools, a virus c, reason, and will be getting atmosphere in the future.
I'm not sure if I should get this and would like some input. I'm saving up for some hr824's but this looks like to good deal of a deal to pass up |

| I'm looking into it now but $700 for all of the the above aint bad. Anyone have good experiences with their products for the production of trance? |

| pro53 and absynth cane make really good sounds for trance .. but you gotta make the sounds yourself the presets are not that great |

| I've been checking the NI website and the package looks powerful but it's the price of a hr824. I'll sleep o n it....thanks |

| Reaktor is incredible in itself as you can create your own synths with it. Easily the most complex VSTi I've seen to date. |

for 500$ or 700$ I think absynth, reaktor, FM7 and PRO-53 is worth it...
Absynth is a unique synth and is very very good for pads, very good for basses and leads and is definately one of the best synths i've used so far...
Pro-53 i have never used it before but from what I hear, it is good for "trance" sounds....
Reaktor is a powerful beast... however you need to spend a lot of time trying to figure out... I didn't want to however.. ;)
FM-7 is one of the best FM synths and IMO these are not necessarily the best for "trance" sounds but they can pump out a very wide variety of unique sounds that you could easily include in your trance tracks...
Kontakt, Kompakt, Intakt, Battery, Vokator and Spektral Delay aren't cream of the crop, but not bad either, and for the price you are getting them for a steal...
Also, I have a question.. is it which version of absynth and reaktor is included...
I definately think this is worth your money, however, the real question is will you be using all of these for your money's worth or will you be only using a couple of these which could be cheaper if you buy them individually...
The ones in this package I recommend are absynth, reaktor, pro-53, and fm7 |
