Lecture notes:
A fetish is an attraction to a specific kind of objects and/or materials, like rubber, leather, metal, gags or symbolic things like in the case of transvestism and people dressing up as ponys (don't know if that has a name). What is being described in this thread I would classify as turn-ons - perhaps with the exception of mummys panties and the boots in Losts case. Basically if you can get a kick out of it on your own, you'd be suffering/gaining from a fetish.
